The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Sarah Adwoa Safo has recalled her earlier letter terminating the appointment of head of Ghana’s School Feeding programme, Gertrude Quashigah.
Adwoa Safo on 18th May 2021 issued a letter terminating the appointment of head of Ghana’s School Feeding programme.
She directed Gertrude Quashigah to hand over to the chief director of the Gender Ministry.
“You will be paid one month’s salary in lieu of notice as stipulated in your contract agreement,” the initial statement said.
The Gender Minister, has however, in a statement issued today 21st May 2021, withdrawn her earlier letter to Gertrude Quashigah.
“This is to inform you of my decision to withdraw my earlier letter dated 18th May 2021.
“I wish to state that my earlier letter was as a result of administrative error.”
