Wutah Kobby, Member of the defunct Music Group ‘Wutah’, has finally commented on issues involving an alleged breach of contract with Guru, CEO of NKZ Music.
This is in reaction to threats from Guru to sue the group for breaching a contract with his record label, NKZ.
In an interview with DJ Advicer, host of ‘Ayekoo After Drive Show’ on Happy FM, Wutah Kobby said, “I’m ready to meet Guru when the time comes. I mean Guru and I are like brothers. Nothing was going on, so I decided to go back to solo in order to keep my brand moving.”
After several years of split, Music Group ‘Wutah’ was brought together by Guru and managed to produce an instant hit song titled “Bronya”.
Ghanaians were of the view that the two will stick together in order to produce more hit songs but that was not the case.
A few months after releasing two singles; ‘Bronya’ and ‘AK47’, the duo – ‘Afriyie’ and ‘Kobby’- broke the news of their second split while still signed as a group with Guru’s NKZ Record Label.
