Former Asante Kotoko defender, Ofosu Appiah, says he is happy about the return of Ghanaian players to the top-flight league after their stints in Europe.
Sulley Muntari is the latest addition to the Ghana Premier League after his exploits with top European countries.
Former Basel defender, Samuel Inkoom is also reported to be on the verge of signing for Hearts of Oak whilst former Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyeman-Badu is also interested in joining Asante Kotoko.

According to Ofosu Appiah, these experienced players joining the league is good for the image of the Premier League.
“I will be very happy if the players playing in Europe come home to come and play in the Ghana Premier League”, he told Ohene-Bampoe Brenya on Happy Sports’ Where Are They program?
Ofosu Appiah also criticized some journalists who have been reporting negatively on the return of experienced players to the league.
He urged them to desist from that act and rather encourage more players to come home.
“It’s the same media that is destroying the league as well. I will be ready to join the GPL or any club that is ready for my services”.
