Where Are They?: My biggest joy will be Asante Kotoko revenging 4-0 defeat against Hearts- David Kyei

Former Asante Kotoko Express journalist, David Kyei says he will be happy if the Porcupine Warriors can revenge the 4-0 defeat against Hearts of Oak in a Ghana Premier League game.

Hearts of Oak thrashed arch-rivals Asante Kotoko 4-0 in a Ghana Premier League game played at the Accra Sports Stadium in the 2000/2001 season.

That result is the biggest margin suffered by the Porcupine Warriors against their arch-rivals Hearts of Oak in the last two decades.

Asante Kotoko is hoping to revenge the defeat and has come close on several occasions.

David Kyei who was sharing his time with Asante Kotoko whilst working for the Kotoko Express in an interview with Happy FM said, “I expect Kotoko to beat Hearts of Oak 4-0. That will be my happiest moment for Asante Kotoko. It will happen one day, definitely in the future”, he told Joe Debrah on Where Are They program?.

The former Kotoko Express photographer also commended the current administration under Nana Yaw Amponsah.
“I feel very happy now with what is happening at Asante Kotoko under Nana Yaw Amponsah. I am not close with the team now but what I see, what I read, he is doing very well ”.

In 2012 David Kyei was adjudged the best Sports Journalist in the country by the Ghana Journalist Association.
