Popular Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall act Kojo Kurankye aka Ras Kuuku is saying that ‘wee’ does not cause mental illness.
In an interview with Doctar Cann on Happy FM’s ShowbizXtra he said:
“The European’s wisdom is equal to that of the African. But how come they’ve legalised weed and mental illness has not increased because of the use of ‘wee’. This is a misconception we need to clear. ‘Wee’ doesn’t cause mental illness.”
He appealed to the government to stop prosecuting the youth for smoking and using ‘wee’ but rather legalise the substance and find ways to regulate it.
Ras Kuuku is promoting his 15-track collection of well brewed lyrics and melody titled ‘Kuntunkununku’ which means ‘The Heaviest’.
