Samuel Nartey George has stated that the NDC’s super Majority caucus in Parliament will scrap E- Levy and betting tax within first 120 days in office.

According to him, the majority of seats secured by the NDC is not just a majority but a super Majority who are going to work tirelessly in the 9th Parliament to promote the interest of Ghanaians.

In an interview with Happyghana.com, Sam George also said the COVID 19 and emission tax will also be scrapped to ease the burden of Ghanaians.

He said the NDC super majority is not going to be like the NPP who cheated and stole money from Ghanaians but we will make sure Ghanaians get the better lives they deserve.

Alan Kyerematen Congratulates John Mahama and NDC on Electoral Victory In a press release dated December 8, 2024, Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, founder and leader of the Movement for Change and Alliance for Revolutionary Change, extended his congratulations to former President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for their resounding victory in the 2024 General Elections. Despite the Electoral Commission yet to formally declare the results, Mr. Kyerematen acknowledged the clear decision made by the people of Ghana. He urged all Ghanaians to accept the electorate's choice once the official results are announced, emphasizing the importance of preserving peace in the nation. He commended all presidential and parliamentary candidates for their responsible conduct during the elections, which he noted as one of the most peaceful in Ghana’s history. In a solemn note, Mr. Kyerematen expressed his condolences to the family of an individual who reportedly lost their life during the elections, as well as those who sustained injuries. "There are no winners or losers in this election," Mr. Kyerematen remarked. "It is Ghana that has emerged victorious through the mercy and grace of our Living God." He concluded his message with a call for unity and blessings for Ghana, urging citizens to continue working towards making the nation "great and strong." This gesture reflects the commitment to democracy and peace as Ghana transitions into a new chapter under the leadership of the NDC.
