Alhaji Masawudu Osman, the third National Vice Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party has called on NPP members to rise up against any form of intimidation from the National Democratic Congress.
According to him, they won’t sit idle and watch Malik Basintale, the NDC Deputy Communications Officer instill fear and panic in them as if they don’t have the capacity to replicate what he is doing.
He called on NPP members to show up at the various collation centres while stressing that the NDC shouldn’t’ take their silence for cowardice because they can equally be hooligans.
“The men in NPP, come out. As the Vice Chairman of the NPP in charge of operations at the headquarters, I will not stand by and allow my people to be intimidated. Come out from all the regions, and seek revenge from tomorrow to Friday. Anybody who has a gun, go and bring it out.
“We will not allow Basintale to instill fear and panic in our people. I am telling you, I will end by telling Ghanaians that you all know how much NPP loves peace. That is the reason why we conceded defeat earlier. But it seems that the NDC does not appreciate our efforts. If they don’t appreciate our effort, we will show them that we are more hooligans than them,” Alhaji Masawudu Osman said while addressing the media.
