We will deal with ghosts taking pay –NPP

A member of the communications team of the governing New Patriotic Party has promised the party will deal  ruthlessly with all the ghosts that have been drawing pay from the government pay roll over the years.
Stephen  Balado Manu serve this notice that not even NPP elements will be spared  in the party’s quest  to clean the system off corrupt practices.
Mr. Balado Manu served this warning on Happy FM’s afternoon socio-political show hosted by Kwame Afrfia- Mensah dubbed ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ in Accra.
He warned the party will not spare anybody and all those found culpable in the GYEEDA, National Service scheme saga will be dealt with in accordance with the law.
He said ‘if you know you are not a staff of the National Service scheme or GYEEDA and you go there every morning to draw salaries you better stop it’
He explained that since lawyer Kodua  took over the reign of GYEEDA  as Chief Executive Officer series of head counts have carried and all of sudden the ghost are gradually disappearing.
According to him,  this an indication the level of corruption the National Democratic Congress (NDC) under John Dramani Mahama perpetuated on the state.
‘They were making people to draw free salaries  without working for it thereby puttin g a drain on the economy’ he said
The era where people were not working  and drawing pay from the  government pay roll will be a thing of the past he added
