We shall rise against any move to remove Dampare – President, Ghana Need Ghana

IGP

President of Ghana Need Ghana organization, Rev. Mrs. Patience Mensah has made an official request to the leading members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to maintain George Owusu Dampare as the Inspector General Of Police.

This follows the interception of a series of secret recordings by credible news sources exposing details of a plot by some top officials of the ruling New Patriotic Party to displace the current Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akuffo Dampare from office ahead of the 2024 polls.

Speaking at the ‘Ghana Wake Up Press Conference’ organized by the pressure group, she indicated that the IGP is one who is admired by many Ghanaians for his hardwork and dedication he invests in ensuring that the law is enforced in Ghana.

Mrs. Mensah passionately described the IGP as the right man for the people of Ghana in an unapologetic address. She commended the senior police officer for a couple of recent operations that were handled by him and other designated officers successfully noting that she will always stand for what is right and who is leading Ghana on the right path.

“The IGP has done a great job over the past two years; peace has reigned in all election related matters for the past two years which was not so before; acclaimed prophets and church leaders have been circumspective in the delivery of the prophecies also.”

The philanthropist completed her submission to the ruling government by issuing an official request to abort attempts to remove Owusu Dampare George. “No one is 100% perfect but we love Dampare because he is doing a good job. If they take him out we will send a letter to them. If those efforts are also futile we will embark on a demonstration or go to court.”

The Ghana Wake Up Press Conference was organized by the Ghana Need Ghana Organization, a pressure group established on the pillars of justice, peace and the general well-being of the Ghanaian citizen. The press conference brought to light certain matters of the nation that were selected by the group as matters that demand rapt attention and must be taken until they are resolved.
