After losing club captain Moro Salifu to Egyptian club Al Ittihad Alexandria, Bechem United coach Kassim Mingle trusts he has a better replacement with the resigning of Augustine Okrah.
The club talisman rejoined Bechem United from Asante Kotoko ahead of the 2021-2022 Ghana Premier League, helping his side batter Medeama SC in a 4-0 game at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
After displaying a dazzling performance, his manager believes he is the perfect replacement for Moro Salish.
Im the course of a conversation on Wamputu Sports on Happy Fm with Joe Debrah he said, “We have gotten a replacement after losing Moro Salifu, in the name of Augustine Okrah and he’s the perfect replacement. He already played for us before moving to Kotoko so he’s well known by the fans.
He’s also an inspiration to our young players. He together with Anabila advise the younger ones and urge them to do more.”
Bechem United face off Ashante Kotoko in their next fixture, however, Coach Mingle promises to give the Porcupines a run for their money as he eyes a top-four finish.
