Ghanaian hip-life duo, Keche, say they believe that they are the only top-notch music group in the Ghanaian music industry that is still surviving and there has been no instance or even thought of them ever breaking apart.
The ‘Aluguntugui’ hitmakers, despite the fact that they have gone on a few hiatuses, explicated during an interview with Dr. Cann on Happy FM’s Showbiz Xtra, that when a group or an artiste goes ‘MIA’ for a period of time, it does not mean that they are not good or that they are out of business.
“At the time that someone is winning, you also need to relax and learn more so that you can bounce back bigger and better”, said Joshua Ampah of the duo, in explanation to why they went missing from the music scene for so long.
According to them, “Undoubtedly, we are the only surviving, top group”.
Joshua confessed that he is glad they took time off and came back with the song ‘No dulling’ which features Kuami Eugene because undoubtedly, it is the biggest song in Ghana at the moment.
“After we released ‘No dulling’ with Kuami Eugene, the feedback has been really shocking to us. Just a week old and it has almost a hundred thousand views on YouTube and that’s huge”, they further added.
