Newly appointed member of the Premier League Management Committee (PLMB), Alhaji Akanbi, says the committee will work to the expectation of Ghanaians when they begin their mandate.
The Premier League Management Committee (PLMB) has been created to replace the Premier League Board (PLB) and it will be chaired by former Ghana Football Association chairman MND Jawula.
The committee will comprise of five members from the Premier League clubs and two members from the Executive Council.
The Hearts of Oak board member in an interview on Anopa Bosuo Sports on Happy FM said, “This committee will be different from the old one. This new system will bring unity and cohesion where we will work together as a unit. Those running football know what they are doing. I know people are expecting a company to run the league but this particular Executive Council has the determination to work and they want to achieve something”.
He further said, “if you are placed in a committee you will not love to relax. We are going to work to everybody’s expectation”.
