The Ghana Water Limited (GWL) in the Eastern Region has announced a temporary disruption in the supply of potable water to the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipality and its environs.
In a statement, management disclosed that the interruption will occur from Thursday, January 2, 2025, to Thursday, January 9, 2025, to enable major maintenance works at the water treatment plant. These works are intended to enhance water supply to the affected areas.
Residents are advised to store enough water to meet their needs during and after the maintenance period.
Management has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused and reaffirmed their commitment to improving service delivery.

INTERRUPTION IN SUPPLY OF POTABLE WATER AT NSAWAM-ADOAGYIR MUNICIPALITY
THE MANAGEMENT OF GHANA WATER LIMITED (GWL), EASTERN REGION WISHES TO INFORM ITS VALUED CUSTOMERS IN THE NSAWAM – ADOAGYIRI MUNICIPALITY AND IT’S ENVIRONS THAT THERE WILL BE INTERRUPTION IN SUPPLY OF POTABLE WATER FROM THURSDAY 2ND JANUARY 2025 TO THURSDAY 9th January 2025. THIS IS TO ENABLE THE REGIONAL MANAGEMENT CARRY OUT A MAJOR MAINTENANCE WORKS AT THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT TO IMPROVE SUPPLY TO AFFECTED AREAS.
PLEASE KINDLY STORE ENOUGH WATER FOR USE DURING THE PERIOD AND BEYOND.
