The West African Examinations Council is waiting on the Ministry of Education to release additional funds out of an outstanding balance of GHc118,000,000.
The council says, the outstanding balance is for the repair of their scanners.
According to them, repairing the scanners would enable the scanning process and other post examinations processes to continue smoothly.
The council in a statement appealed to its examination officials and suppliers to exercise restraint as payment for their services will be made as soon as the funds are released by the Ministry.
The West African Examinations Council has assured parents that, examination results would be released soon as the council is currently working on resolving some post- examination activities.
They have however urged the public to disregard misinformation on social media about a purported date for the release of BECE results.
