Jordan Ayew was on the scoresheet as Ghana suffered a 4-1 defeat to Japan in the Kirin Challenge Cup on Friday.
The Blue Sumarai took the lead through Miki Yamane in the 29th minute before the Crystal Palace forward got the equalizer in the 44th minute.
It was his first goal of the Black Stars in two years, ending his goal drought.

Japan quickly took the lead in the 45th minute through Kaoru Mitoma before the half time break.
After recess Coach Otto Addo made four changes to his starting line up introducing Daniel Afriyie Barnie, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Benjamin Tetteh.
Real Madrid’s Takefusa Kobo scored in the third goal of the game in the 73rd minute before Daizen Maeda sealed the win late in the game.
Ghana will now face Chile in the third place match on Tuesday.
