Veteran gospel trio, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, have revealed that they will not file for the upcoming Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) nominations.
The celebrated gospel group made up of Edna Sarpong, Monica Owusu Ansah and Cynthia Appiadu revealed this in an exclusive interview with DJ Advicer, host of the ‘Ayekoo After Drive’ show on Happy 98.9 FM.
“We will not file. I’m saying this on your platform. We will not file for anything. We have been there, we have been existing for 30 years and so, if they [VGMA] are celebrating their 20 years and can’t honour us […], it’s up them”.
