E.T Mensah spearheaded this vision, leading to the establishment of two committees tasked with initiating the necessary processes.”

The turning point came on the 3rd and 4th of November in 1993 during a Congress meeting, where the committees presented comprehensive reports outlining the advantages of incorporating football clubs. Lawyer Ntow Fianko reminisced, “We explained what the clubs stood to gain in return for embracing professionalism. It was during this historic event that we collectively decided to transition from an Amateur to a Professional League.”
