VIDEO: Former GFA Vice President condemns attack on New Edubiase president

Former Ghana Football Association Vice President George Afriyie has condemned the recent attack on New Edubiase United president Abdul Salam Yakubu.

Abdul Salam Yakubu was nearly beaten by some assailant alleged to be from Kurt Okraku’s camp at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday during Hearts of Oak’s game against Bechem United.

According to Abdul Salam, he was nearly attacked because of his criticism of the Kurt Okraku led GFA administration especially during the selection of players to the Black Satellites team for the WAFU U20 Championship in Benin.

Speaking on the issue in an interview with Ohene Bampoe-Brenya, George Afriyie who was also a witness to the incident condemned the act.
