
The Vice President, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has extended warm wishes to the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid al Fitr.
In a statement, she acknowledged their dedication, values, and contributions, emphasizing their role in enriching the nation and the world.
She wished them joy, peace, and renewed strength during the celebrations.
“Likewise, I would like to say thank you to everyone for the kind sentiments and well wishes this weekend,” she expressed.
On Sunday, March 30, Spokesperson to the President and Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, issued a statement indicating that the Vice President was taken to the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) on Saturday after falling ill the previous night.
Medical experts at UGMC recommended further treatment outside the country to ensure her full recovery.
