The Appointments Committee of Parliament is scheduled to vet Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, along with three regional ministers-designate, on Monday, January 27, 2025.
The vetting will commence at 9:00 AM in Committee Room 1&2 of the Administration Building in Parliament.
This process is part of efforts to evaluate nominees appointed by President John Dramani Mahama to lead key ministries and regions. It aims to solidify the leadership team of the President’s administration.
The other nominees to be vetted include:
1. Tia Ibrahim, Minister-Designate for the North East Region
2. Dr. Frank Amoakohene, Minister-Designate for the Ashanti Region
3. Akamugri Atanga Donatus, Minister-Designate for the Upper East Region
The committee has already vetted and secured parliamentary approval for several nominees in previous sessions, and the upcoming vetting is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping the leadership structure of the government.
This exercise represents a critical step in finalizing appointments to key ministerial positions, ensuring the administration is well-prepared to address Ghana’s pressing challenges.
