Chair of the Ad-Hoc Committee investigating the chaos during the recent ministerial vetting session, Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah, has dismissed accusations of being biased from the Minority.
Addressing the claims, Bedzrah stated, “I’m not biased; you have all seen what we have done here, and we were surprised that they were not here.”
Speaking with journalists, Bedzrah emphasized that the accusations lack substance.
He stated that, “He was here with us, so I don’t know where that accusation of bias comes from. He has to identify where I was biased.”
Bedzrah further stated that the committee remains committed to its mandate and expects the Minority to participate in the proceedings.
“We are waiting for them on Monday. If they are not here, we will invoke constitutional provisions as well as the Standing Orders.”
Emmanuel Bedzrah was accused by the Minority of being biased in the ongoing investigations into the chaos that happened during the ministerial vetting.
