Ace radio pundit and YFM presenter Kojo Manuel has notified the public regarding a catfish who has falsely assumed the personality of Kojo Manuel to extort money from fans.

The fraudster who is identified with the contact number, 0508964149 registered as Alimatu Kasim has engaged a number of people on WhatsApp by inviting them to a supposed dinner party, which he/she claimed would be organized at a restaurant in East Legon.

The catfish aims to extort money from the contacts of Kojo Manuel by sending him money to pay for a cake that would be part of celebrations at the said dinner.

However, Kojo Manuel on his X page, bluntly revealed that, “Guys this is not me!; someone is trying to scam people using my name. I am not doing a birthday event and not asking people to give me money for it ; the number is 0508964149; please beware!!!” as a caution to all contacts and fans.
