Happy 98.9FM visited the WA Sports Complex to check work done at the facility.
Our reporter Sanni Abacha confirmed that construction works ongoing at the facility is almost near completion.
Pictures from the site showed that the FIFA standard football pitch, the 500 sitting capacity, VIP, dressing rooms had all been completed.
The facility is ready to host a football game should it be commissioned anytime soon.

However, the tartan tracks for the athletics oval are the only project yet to be worked on.
Happy 98.9FM contacted the contractor who at the time of the report was in Accra said the tartan tracks were going to be fixed should funds be made available.
Our reporter mentioned that the WA Sports Complex is in good shape and will be ready for usage should the project be completed soon.
