The Basketball court was also near completion and the only thing missing was the construction of the tartan tracks for the athletics oval.
According to our reporter, work had stalled at the site due to a lack of funds.
The facility was very unkept at the time of reporting on work done as it seemed works had been abandoned for some time.
Happy Sports can confirm the basketball court, tennis court and football pitch had been done.
Happy 98.9FM got in touch with the Project Manager Emmanuel Offei who confirmed that the project had stalled due to lack of funds.
“We are unable to complete the project due to lack of funds”, he told Ohene-Bampoe Brenya on Happy Sports.
“Three months ago we were called into a meeting concerning the project.
“We are hoping funds will be released for us to complete the job. The Koforidua project is 90 percent complete, which can be finished within a month”, he added.
