President of Ghana Division One side Uncle-T United Isaac Tetteh has claimed that newly-signed Hearts of Oak striker Kofi Kordzi still has a running contract with his outfit.
Kordzi became the Phobians sixth major signing since Kim Grant took over as new coach in November.
The budding marksman put pen to paper on a three-year deal as a free agent last week after impressing in a two-week trial – where he scored twice during the Rainbow Club’s 2-1 victory over Ghana U-20 national team and also registered an assist in the win against Skyy FC last weekend.
But the 22-year-old is reported to have committed a blunder in signing for the Accra-based giants after owner and bankroller of Prampram Uncle-T United, Mr. Isaac Tetteh claimed that the player did not conclude his running contract with his outfit before penning a deal with Hearts of Oak.
“Kofi Kordzi did not complete his contract with Uncle T United and he left with no trace till I heard he has signed for Accra Heart of Oak. I will allow him to enjoy his new path because it is Hearts of Oak. If the striker want to go forward then he needs to desist from certain behaviours,” Mr. Tetteh stated on Atinka FM.
Hearts of Oak are one of the busiest clubs in the ongoing transfer window, having signed Richmond Ayi, Charles McCarthy, Mohammed Alhassan, Dominic Eshun, Larry Ibrahim Sumaila and Kofi Kordzi
