Justice Nene Amegatcher and Justice Prof Nii Ashie Kotey both Justices of the Supreme Court have retired.
As required by the Constitution, both of the two supreme court judges have reached the age of 70.
Their retirement followed Justice Kwasi Anin Yeboah, former Chief Justice, Justice Jones Victor Dotse, Justice Clemence Honyenuga and Justice Agnes Dordzie who all left the bench in recent times.
Justices Amegatcher and Nii Ashie Kotey were appointed to the apex court of Ghana by President Nana Akufo-Addo in 2018.
They were subsequently vetted and approved by Parliament. They were sworn into office in October 2018.
