Suspected NDC members have allegedly attacked two Police officers at Awutu Bereku in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region.

According to reports, the suspected NDC members locked government offices, notably, Social Welfare office and National Health Insurance scheme office.

The members also ejected workers and clients from the office when they stormed the premises on motorbikes.

According Kojo Manu who witnessed the incident, the suspected NDC members attacked police officers who recorded them while they were locking the offices.

He recounted that the suspects assaulted the police officers, seized their mobile phones and deleted the footage.

“Over 50 pregnant women who came to the NHIS office to renew their cards were forced out of the office”, he added.

Mr. Manu also alleged that those men are NDC members from Bereku because he knows them.
