Communications Director of Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo has downplayed reports that his outfit ‘stole’ Dominic Eshun from Karela United FC.
On Tuesday, the Phobians announced the signing of Dominic Eshun on a long term deal via their official twitter handle.
However, spokesperson for the Anyinase-based side, Eric Alagidede claimed that Hearts of Oak did not pass through the right channel in acquiring the services of their flying winger.
A claim that has been refuted by Opare Addo who believes his outfit did nothing wrong in the signing of the budding wideman during an interview with Ohene Bampoe–Brenya on Happy FM‘s Anopa Bosuo Sports.
“If Karela FC claims we have stolen their player, that’s their call. They can say what they want,” Opare stated on Happy FM.
“Karela FC is saying a different story that we know per the document that we have read which is available to us. We have not done anything wrong.”
“We’ve been in this business for long and management knows what we are about. We will always do things in the interest of the club. We don’t believe the manager of the player has misled us. By the close of the day, we will know who is telling the truth.”
“Hearts of Oak fans should be calm because we haven’t done anything wrong.”
