Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal have submitted a world record bid to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the staggering bid is worth €300 million [£260m], shattering the previous world record fee set by Neymar at €222 million [£191m].
While rumours about Mbappe’s future have been swirling, Romano revealed that PSG are “convinced” the 24-year-old French international has already agreed to terms with Real Madrid. He stated, “There is a contract ready” for a move to Los Blancos next year.
Al Hilal are reportedly willing to offer the French forward a remarkable salary package of €700 million for just one year.

Despite Al Hilal’s audacious bid, Real Madrid remain the frontrunners to secure Mbappe’s signature. Last month, Madrid president Florentino Perez hinted at the prospect, saying, “Yes, but not this year,” in response to a fan’s inquiry about signing the coveted forward.
Mbappe, who was notably left out of PSG’s pre-season tour of Japan, is entering the final year of his contract at the Parc des Princes.
