#Transferfilla: Tottenham and Bayern reach an agreement for Harry Kane

Bayern Munich have secured an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur for the transfer of England skipper Harry Kane.

The Athletic claim sources in Germany have indicated that a proposal from the Bundesliga club, rumoured to be valued at over €100 million (£86.4 million, $110 million), has been accepted by Tottenham. The Premier League side accepted the offer on Wednesday.

The next step rests with Kane, who now has to make a crucial decision about whether he will make the move to Bayern Munich. The 30-year-old had expressed a desire to resolve his future prior to Tottenham’s opening match of the season against Brentford on Sunday.

Kane’s relationship with new Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou and his current enjoyment at the club had initially pointed towards his preference to stay.

However, this new development has added a twist to the situation. While Kane is approaching the final 12 months of his contract with Tottenham, they are keen to extend his tenure by offering fresh terms.

The lack of progress on contract negotiations has led Tottenham to consider selling their star striker during the current transfer window to avoid the risk of losing him as a free agent next summer.

Kane scored 30 goals in the Premier League last season for Spurs, who finished outside the top four.
