Neighbours of the missing but found ‘pregnant’ woman are still insisting that she was pregnant despite the report that she had confessed to lying about her pregnancy.
This was made known by the HappyFM/e.TVGhana’s Western Regional correspondent, Akosua Gyabaa, when she gave an update on matters arising post the reported confession of Josephine Panyin Mensah.

Speaking to Samuel Eshun on the Happy Morning Show, Akosua revealed: “Takoradi has been quiet following the confession from Josephine. The weekend was very dull. People are shocked and others suspect that she was under duress to make such a confession. Those who even cursed the minister still stand by their belief that Josephine was pregnant.
What everyone is saying is that she was pregnant. People are even doubting they [the family] can afford to buy a silicon belly”.
Days after 29-year-old Josephine Mensah was found, Western Regional Minister Kwabena Octhere Darko Mensah disputed the claim that Josephine was pregnant; stirring controversy.

This led some neighbours of Josephine to invoke curses on the Western Regional Minister.
Not too long after, the police corroborated the claim of the Minister; stating that the missing but found woman was not pregnant.
On Friday, 24th September, 2021, she was reported to have confessed before her husband and the police that she was never pregnant.
Josephine Panyin Mensah was arraigned before a Takoradi Harbour Circuit Court A today where she has pleaded not guilty.
