The Supreme Court has nullified the re-collated parliamentary election results for Okaikwei Central, Ablekuma North, Tema Central, and Techiman South.
This pivotal ruling overturns the Electoral Commission’s (EC) re-collation process and subsequent declarations for these constituencies, which had been at the center of significant legal and political controversy.
Notably, the court’s decision does not impact the re-collated results for Nsawam Adoagyiri and Ahafo Ano North, which remain valid and uncontested.
This judgment highlights the judiciary’s essential role in addressing electoral irregularities and upholding constitutional and procedural standards.
