President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has urged traders to avoid taking advantage of existing economic woes in the country to overprice their goods and services.
He added that, such move does not augur well for the country and again, discourages potential customers.
Speaking at the state of the nation’s address on Sunday, 30th October, the President outlined a number of steps government has taken to salvage the country’s economy including closing a deal with the International Monetary Fund by the close of the year.
He admitted that, the country is facing various economic difficulties but said that should not be an avenue for doing unacceptable things .
President Akufo-Addo urged traders, workers and institutions to pay their taxes.
