The minority in parliament claims that the chamber may still undertake business in spite of its absence.

According to the minority, Majority MPs, should also desist from following aspiring flagbearers on campaigns.

The Minority Chief Whip, Governs Agbodza said if the members of the majority represent the house in full the minority shall equally do same.

The minority claims that even while it forgoes chamber business in order to stand with its colleagues who are being tried in court, the Majority caucus could still form a quorum with 137 members present.

Speaking on the floor of Parliament, Mr Agbodza urged the majority caucus to desist from blaming the inability of the house to conduct parliamentary business on the NDC legislators’ boycott.

The Minority leader Cassiel Ato Baah Forson also ddressing the media on the same issue revealed that, the Majority should not expect that the Minority will conduct business on their behalf.

He said that, the majority are using government funds in campaigning so they will not come to the chamber and do their work for them.
