Ex Hearts of Oak deputy coach, stephen Abugri has signed a one-year deal with Division One campaigners Samartex FC as the head coach of the club for the upcoming league season.
The contract is subject to renewal after its expiration.
Abugri, joined Hearts of Oak in the 2014/2015 as assistant coach to Herbert Addo before he was subsequently reassigned to take charge of Hearts’ youth team, Auroras.
He left the Phobians after the expiration of his contract.
Coach Abugri is remembered hugely for how he picked King Faisal from the poor situation they were in during the 2012 Division One season and played unbeaten en-route to qualifying the club to the Premier League.
