The victim and her mother who left the country on Friday 3rd March, are now waiting for two more surgeries which are expected to correct the defects she suffered as a result of the acid attack.
Henrietta suffered this ordeal when her boyfriend who claimed she was cheating on him, doused her with acid while she was taking her bath at Osu where she resides. Her whole face and head were gravely burnt and deformed.
Henrietta shared her chilling story on Happy FM’s “Nsem Pii” show, hosted by Pastor Nyansa Boakwa and listeners who got touched by her story donated massively to support her surgery and other medical expenses in New Delhi, India.
The second phase of the surgery which was done on 25th March was also successful. The team of doctors working on her surgeries disclosed that the hard skin on her face or her burnt face has been dissolved and now waiting for some few days to proceed with the 3rd surgery.
