President of Ghana Athletics, Bawa Fuseini has advised Minister Designate for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams to categorize the various sporting federations in the country.
According to Bawa Fuseini, categorizing the sporting federations will help the Minister to know the kind of funding he will give out to the various groups to ensure the growth of the sports.
“I will advise him to I will him to categorize sporting federations because that will give him a fair idea about how the specific federation has developed over the years, who to support and who to give African or world support. Which federation to give Ghana or domestic support,” Bawa Fuseini said on Happy FM.
Bawa Fuseini also advised Kofi Adams to work on sports funding because that is one of the biggest problems hindering the growth of sports.
“He should also work on sports funding because they are very key to sports development and these are the two keys things I would want him to focus on.
