Ghana’s Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin has announced plans to reconvene parliament early November.
According to the office of the speaker, processes has already begun to recall parliament.
The recall to parliament is expected to take effect after the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association International (CPA) conference slated from 3rd to 8th November, 2024.
This was made known by the Speaker, when a five- member delegation from the Council of State visited the office of the Speaker.
The Speaker assured them of his commitment to the development of the country’s democracy and its people.
The Council however applauded his effort in keeping democratic credentials of the country in High esteem as, they will help the leadership of parliament to resolve any impasse to pave way for the recall of parliament.
