President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is confident Ghana has made some impressive advancements with the aid of digitalization.
He argues that accountability and transparency in the piblic sector has seen massive improvement with the intoduction of government’s innovative measures while providing updates on critical infrastructural projects.
One of the key highlights in his State of the Nation Address delivered on Tuesday, February 27 was the introduction of a performance tracker, a tool designed to monitor the progress of various projects undertaken by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.
President Akufo-Addo emphasized that this tracker would specifically focus on roads, Agenda 111 hospitals, water and sanitation projects, and other crucial infrastructure developments across the country.
President Akufo-Addo also highlighted Ghana’s significant strides in digitalization, emphasizing its role in increasing transparency and accountability within the public sector.
The President touted Ghana’s progress in leveraging digital technologies to streamline government processes, improve service delivery, and enhance access to information.
