Renowned businessman S.K Boafo has been appointed board member of ambitious Division One campaigner Phar Rangers Football Club in what can be termed as a landmark appointment.
This adds up to the blistering list of reputable personalities who are getting onboard the Phar Rangers traindue to the vision of the club.
Mr. Boafo, who is a transport mogul and also the Chief Executive Officer of S.K Boafo Group of Companies with includes S.K Boafo Travel and Tour, is expected to bring his vast experience and knowledge to bear on the young but high-flying Division One club.
Speaking to Happy FM, President of the club, Nana Yaw Amponsah sees Mr. Boafo’s appointment as an endorsement of the Phar Rangers brand which seeks to become a model club in Ghana.
“We’re excited to have Mr. Boafo joining our team as a board member. He’s an astute businessman who needs little introduction in Ghana and his vast knowledge and experience will be priceless for Phar Rangers as we look to making this club a model club in Ghana. Nana Yaw said.
Vice-President of the Club, Sammy Anim Addo is hopeful that in the next few years, Phar Rangers will become the reference points for other Ghanaian clubs due to the programmes and structures that are being put in place.
Last week, Captain and talisman of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan was honoured as the Honorary President of Phar Rangers.
