Following Eric Johnson’s horrible murder, oJirapa in Ghana’s Upper West Region has been rocked by shock and indignation. Eric Johnson was the chief executive officer of the Cosy Hill Hotel, also referred to as “Jirapa Dubai.”
The discovery of Johnson’s lifeless body in a pool of blood in one of the hotel rooms on Sunday, February 11, has sent shockwaves through the community.
In response to this heinous crime, the Ghana Police Service has swiftly taken action, apprehending seven individuals believed to be connected to Johnson’s murder.
The detained suspects include Dookuuri Fausta, Braimah Kasim, Beyuo Felix, Michael Klugey, Kumbata Kwaku, Charles Tuoze, and Favour Nuobe.
The Inspector General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare, has taken a personal interest in the case, deploying a team of seasoned investigators to collaborate with the Upper West Regional Crime Scene Management Team.
This joint effort aims to expedite the investigation process and ensure that those responsible for Johnson’s untimely demise face justice swiftly.
At present, the arrested individuals are cooperating with law enforcement authorities as they delve deeper into the circumstances surrounding the CEO’s murder. The community of Jirapa, still reeling from the shock of this tragic event, is eagerly awaiting answers and justice for Eric Johnson.
