ReadyforWork, the immersive learning ecosystem powered by Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, is now accepting applications for its sixth cohort. Designed to integrate Africa’s youth into the global workforce, the program features open tracks in UX/UI, Finance, Digital Marketing, Data Analysis, and Disciplined Entrepreneurship. Global payments giant Visa joins as a content partner, adding industry expertise to the program.
ReadyforWork was launched in 2021 by Ghana-based education social enterprise Stars From All Nations (SFAN). The platform provides entry-level job seekers and early-career professionals with resources to enhance competitiveness and launch meaningful careers.
In late 2022, SFAN earned global recognition with a feature on New York Times Square by the Nasdaq Entrepreneurship Center as one of Africa’s most innovative brands addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Building on this milestone, SFAN partnered with Visa to integrate the company’s thought leadership into ReadyforWork, leading to the creation of the Disciplined Entrepreneurship track. This track delivers seven core lessons on key topics like launching and scaling a business, managing finances, leveraging mobile banking, and understanding creditworthiness.
Research by Visa and Devex highlights that inadequate financial and digital skills remain significant barriers to success in the digital economy. ReadyforWork directly addresses these gaps by providing tailored learning resources that empower learners to build confidence, enhance employability, and demonstrate job readiness—bridging the shortcomings of traditional systems.
The program’s success-based pricing model means that candidates get the enormous benefits of future-proofing their careers with a curriculum that actually works.
