President-elect, John Dramani Mahama has revealed that he is having a hard time selecting his appointees for his next government.
John Dramani Mahama will be sworn in as the president of Ghana for the third time on January 7, 2025, at the Black Stars Square in Accra and according to him, he wants to select the best brains to execute his mandate.
He said he will rely on God’s wisdom to select the best individuals for every available position as he is currently having a hard time in making that decision himself.
“I have a huge task ahead of me. No man has yet invented a machine that can see into the minds or hearts of human beings, and yet I have to choose a team to work with me. I pray that God grants us the wisdom of discernment so we can select a team that will work for this country.”
He added, “We need to be selfless so that we can regain the trust of our young people and show them that democracy indeed works. It will be 32 years since, in 1993, we gathered at the Independence Square to begin the 4th Republic,” Mahama said.
