Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko held a successful training session at the Accra Academy School Park on Monday afternoon ahead of their trip to Nigeria.
But according to a source close to the camp of the General Captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan disclosed to Happyghana.com that the cost for training on the astroturf was paid by the Striker for the Turkish side Kayserispor.
The source revealed that Gyan paid Ghc 1,500 for the Kumasi based club for the three-day training session.
The Porcupine Warriors will be playing as guests to Nigerian side Kano Pillars in the CAF Champions League.
The first leg of the clash will be played on the 9th of August while the second comes off two weeks later.
