Communications Director of Heart of Oak, Opare Addo, has called for unity among the playing body, Management and supporters of the club amidst a challenging season.
The Phobians have struggled to pull weights in the League this season with recent poor performances provoking supporters to accuse management of being incompetent.
They suffered a setback in their penultimate game, succumbing to a defeat against Real Tamale United in Accra. This loss has put them in a precarious position, with the threat of relegation looming over their heads.
“This is the time Hearts of Oak have to be united. The players and technical team need the support of the fans in these challenging times so it gives them the extra encouragement to pull through, that’s the only motivation everyone needs right now. We need to come together to be able to recover and come back stronger next season,” Opare Addo said on Happy FM.
Hearts of Oak must avoid defeat in their final game against Berekum Chelsea to stay up after winning the league in 2021.
