Former President of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings has joined Vladimir Putin of Russia and Emmerson Mnangagwa to mourn the passing of Robert Mugabe.
The former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe died at the age of 95 in Singapore whilst receiving medical attention.
Below are some of the condolences poured out to the family of Mugabe and Zimbabwe as a whole

Emmerson Mnangagwa -” Cde Mugabe was an icon of liberation, a pan-Africanist who dedicated his life to the emancipation and empowerment of his people. His contribution to the history of our nation and continent will never be forgotten. May his soul rest in eternal peace (2/2)”
Macky Sall – “I send my heartfelt condolences and those of the nation to President @edmnangagwa and the Zimbabwean people, following the death of the father of the nation, President Robert Mugabe.”
Jerry John Rawlings- “RIP Comrade Mugabe. You lived for the dignity of your fellow black. Your African pride, dignity and audacity were unassailable. Africa has lost a bold and noble Statesman. My condolences to the government and people of Zimbabwe.”
On his part Putin said the people of Russia will remember Mugabe as a consistent advocate of developing friendly relations between their countries and a person who had accomplished a great deal to strenghten mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation.
