The Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Okaikwei North Constituency, Kwaku Asare Agyekum has made a passionate appeal for the return of the NDC government, which he believes is the only way to salvage Ghana from its current state of decline.
In an interview on Happy98.9FM’s Epa Hoa Daben political talk show with Bismark Brown, he painted a vivid picture of a country in dire need of experienced leadership and urgently requires a rescue mission.
According to Mr Asare, the NDC Presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, is the best person for the job, having previously served as President and learned valuable lessons from his experiences. He acknowledged that Mahama has made mistakes in the past but believes that he has gained valuable insights and is now better equipped to correct those mistakes and chart a new course for Ghana’s development.
He expressed confidence that if given the opportunity, Mahama would lead Ghana to prosperity over the next four years, and urged Ghanaians to rally behind the NDC’s vision for a better tomorrow.
