The Vice Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, is set to begin a campaign tour of the Upper West Region on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
According to a statement issued by her spokesperson, James Agyenim-Boateng, this tour follows her recent visits to northern Ghana as part of efforts to boost support for NDC’s Presidential Candidate, Mr. John Dramani Mahama, and the party’s parliamentary aspirants ahead of the December 7, 2024 general elections.
The statement highlighted that during the two-day tour, she will share the NDC’s key campaign messages with voters in constituencies such as Wa Central, Lambussie, Nandom, Lawra, and Sissala.
Her campaign in the Upper West Region is expected to end on Wednesday, after which she will head to the Northern Region on Thursday to commence another campaign tour.
Last week, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang visited the North East and Savannah Regions, where she urged voters to support Mr. Mahama to address the challenges caused by the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration, enhance education, create jobs, and promote the financial empowerment of women.
