In a bid to assist the constituents to comply with the COVID- 19 preventive protocols as spelled out in the Government directives to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in the country, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the Klottey Korley constituency Prince Appiah Debrah, has been contributing his widow’s mite in diverse ways towards that cause.

As part of his social intervention measures, the Parliamentary candidate has since the lockdown, been presenting food items to households, vulnerable groups and the needy on daily basis.
During the second week of the lock down,he personally donated some Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to some health institutions including the Ridge hospital within the constituency to support the front line health personnel.
On Easter Sunday, he embarked on a walk through some communities in the constitutency during which he presented cooked food, liquid soaps, sanitizers and tissues to various households and at places like Arts Centre, Adabraka Sahara, Ring road, Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Asylum Down and Osu .
During his stop- overs, he advised his audience ranging from head porters (Kayayei) hawkers and residents to always embrace best hygienic practices to maintain good health.
He also advised them to religiously comply with the COVID-19 preventive protocols to remain safe from the disease.

The NPP Parliamentary candidate also sensitized the constituents and the vulnerable groups about the importance of the lock down and the need for all and sundry to temporarily sacrifice their personal right of movement to prevent further spread of the virus.

He advised residents to obey and respect the law and also adhere to the safety measures put in place by the government and the health professionals.
Mr. Debrah praised the President and the NPP government for the efforts put in place so far to contain the pandemic and the social intervention measures announced to cushion businesses in the country.
He lauded the government for the stimulus packages for businesses and the incentives announced to motivate the front line health workers in the fight against the virus as well as the reduction in utility services to cushion all Ghanaians.

Mr. Debrah pledged to continue to offer his widow’s mite to the needy and the vulnerable within the duration of the lockdown.
