President Mahama to attend national prayer and thanksgiving service today, January 12

President Mahama to attend national prayer and thanksgiving service today, January 12

President John Dramani Mahama and Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang are set to join worshippers this afternoon, Sunday January 12, 2024 at a National Prayer and Thanksgiving Service. The event forms part of the activities marking the Presidential Inauguration Ceremony.

According to a facebook post by President Mahama, the service is scheduled to commence at 3:00 PM at the Ohene Konadu Auditorium of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) in Madina. It is open to the public and is expected to attract a diverse congregation from across the country.

The prayer and thanksgiving service aims to seek divine guidance and blessings for the President, Vice President, and their administration as they embark on a new term in office.
